A fine 19th century Chinese snuff bottle with a wonderful red & black swirl. This type of bottle came from the Shangtung area in the north. Well hollowed, good footrim and silky to the touch. Later stopper of red glass conforms well. Nice transparent effect in the light.

A gorgeous 3 swan chandelier of solid brass. This is a revival of an Empire form and made probably in the 30-40's. Very nice detail with the contrast of black base.

A beautiful charger or platter with a water side scene carefully painted with thick enamel. There are cranes, butterflies and a samall boat. Lots of gold highlights. Three plum twigs on the back. Hard paste porcelain. From the Meiji period.
About 12 inches diameter. No marks, no chips or hairlines or repairs.
A little wear on the gold as can be seen.

A fahua vase from the Early Republic or late Qing Guangxu period; turquoise ground with a crane amidst lotus in a pond. The crane is a traditional symbol of longevity.
About 13.5" tall. Very good condition save for one small chip at the rim, see picture.
A fine American art glass salt cellar by Nicholas Lutz. It has a graceful folded shape with cranberry spiral threading and on a pedestal with a square beveled foot. 19th century.

Fun decoration of a "hu-ren" (tribal man) groom presenting a donkey to a couple of Chinese in Ming dynasty garb. Wonderful expression on the groom and the donkey. Fine porcelain biscuit. Mark of Yongzhen but 19th century for sure. Nice carnelian top of good color and translucency. Very nice detail.

A large and spectacular repousse silver plate pitcher dated 1868. There is an elaborate and finely detailed repousse scene of a manor compound centered below the spout. A rare and just beautiful Royal Vienna portrait plate in pink. She must be one of the court ladies in Vienna home of the Hapsburg Empire in the 18th & 19th centuries. Jewelled effect along the border. Hand painted and signed by the artist. The shield mark in underglazed blue of the genuine Royal manufactury. About 100-150 years. I guarantee this to be genuine Royal Vienna.
