A beautiful pair of antique rose medallion vases with applied foo lions or dogs and gekkos at the shoulders. The rims are scalloped. Matching courtyard scenes with numerous figures on the body as well as the large neck. I like best the scene of the woman warrior dualing with the general of the long feathers. Probably a scene from a famous Peking opera. Alternating panels of florals, birds, insects, butterflies and fruits. The hand painted details are very fine. A lovely repousse sterling marrow scoop with an elaborate pattern of roses, patented 1902. The mark is that of Blackington Company. Towle purchases many of the dies when the company went under. About 6.8" long, fine condition with no damage. Fancy script "S" monogram.

A big hunk of old apple green jadeite, about .8" by 1/2" and thick. 18K yellow gold setting, nice leaf scroll detail. Chinese luxury hallmark of pre-WWII (or even deco era) Shanghai or Hongkong. This is old green jadeite, so hard to find for the jade lover in a size rarely seen today!

This caught my eye as soon as I saw it ... a fine reticulated Nanking fruit basket with a matching liner. So rare to see them together and matched so well. The basket fits exactly into the well of the liner, the rim borders. The crosses in the border extends to the reticulated parts. And note the foot band pattern of the bowl matches the inner rim band of the liner where the 2 vessels meet! The porcelain is fine with clean shining glaze that has nice orange peel effect. A serene contemplative buddha seated on a lotus throne dating to late Meiji era. He is most likely the Daibutsu in Kamakura. Nice ivory tone with a touch of yellow. A single character on the bottom. Carving is both graceful and fine. See the folds on the robe and the fingers. Also nice detail along the bottom edge. Includes fitted wooden stand. Fine pair of antique 19th century sheffield silver 3 light candlelabra with Glasgow marks as shown. I believe Scottish lion marks are along the pedestal side. Silver a little worn from age and the warm copper shows through along the ridges. Good detail in the art nouveau design. About 12" wide and 7" highest. Very good condition. Felt pad on bottom. No bends or dents. Heavy.
