A fine Stevens & Williams art glass open salt with a Sheffield silver tripod holder. The salt has a ribbed body encircled by spiral threading which goes up almost to the rim edge. The ribbing extends from the bottom almost to the edge of the rim for a maximum optic effect. There is a ring of applied rigaree at the waist for seating in the holder. And the rim is ruffled and petaled. Sheffield hallmark is shown here. About 80-100 years. ...click for details

This is a --- RARE antique Sandwich glass pen with red & blue spiral in the glass and the nicely grooved tip to hold the ink. --- There is a slight slant on the very tip from use. The pen is surely by Nicholas Lutz while at Sandwich Glass on Cape Cod. He was known to have made glass pens in his home workshop for friends. It is not a production item.

This is the same pattern (on a different shape) as the Webb "Moroccan" illustrated in the 2000 price guide of Antique Trader "American and European Decorative and Art Glass" on page 188. An early American Brilliant Period Cut Glass covered compote with a spectacular pyramid form finial. Most likely New England Glass or Sandwich, 1880 or earlier. Panel cuts all around with slanted bevel at the rim. Rings beautifully.

A fine Victorian period epergne or vase which has 10 vertical barbed tip fluted panels. This is old American Brilliant Cut Period glass. The glass has beveled rim, and rings nicely. The footed stand is solid brass with good weight.

About 16" high and 8" diameter. Very good condition considering the delicate glass and age. A little flaking and roughness only along the rim not easily visible. ...click for details

American Brilliant Period Cut glass crystal vase standing 18.5 inches high. Very nice detail of tiny stars on the large round foot which gives stability to this tall vase. It is of slender form with a 5.5 inch diameter base.

Fine condition, a couple of barely noticeable flakes on the rim teeth, hardly visible as you can see in the photos. The orange dot on the bottom of the vase is some residue from usage.
