This is a traditional Chinese brush painting of a beautiful deer with sharp antlers. He looks so proud and grand. The silk is old and is clearly at least 19th century. Signature and seal is of an 18th century artist Tsou I-Kwei (1682-1772). He was famous for painting animals, flowers and birds.

This is one of those fantastic satsuma masterpieces where every mm of space is filled in by a wonderful design, known as "ten thousand cranes". Those tiny cranes were laid on with thick enamel that stand out in relief... easily seen in the larger detail. There are 4 larger golden cranes around. While sumptuous the colors are not overly gaudy. Gold trimmed rims to protect the porcelain. Meiji (1868-1912) era.

A fine Qing dynasty jade archer ring of a transluscent light green with striations. Most likely early to mid 19th century. Due to the transluscence, it takes on the color of the background. A well crafted ring concave at one rim and convex at the other. This is a genuine archer's ring intended for use.
A black mille fleurs teapot and small tazza (footed dish). Guangxu mark and late of the period or early Republic. Clean and sharp designs.
Good condition with no cracks or hairlines. Enamel in good condition. Nice example of this design. Teapot and tazza hard to find.
A large late Ming blue and white jar with stylized dragon motif. The dragons are partly hidden within stylized waves. Mingyao with very good color and pattern.

Early Yongzheng imperial mark washer bowl with Tibetan lanca script and underglazed square mark, of the period (1723-1735). This is a scholar's brush washer. Each letter is supported by a lotus blossom. It would have been a gift from the Chinese Emperor to the Tibetan Dalai Lama in the annual imperial gift exchange (see historical note below).

This is a charming China Trade export oil painting of a Chinese junk tied up at a villa on the water. There is a small sampan in the foreground and 2 little figures in front of the entrance. This is a fancy southern Chinese style building most likely in Canton. There is an old typewriter tag on the back which you can see from the picture. A fine antique Canton export reticulated fruit basket with liner. Fine blue, orange peel, good hand painted detail. Great oval form. Approximately mid 19th century.
8.5" x 7.25 oval and 3.75" high. Very good condition save for one hairline as shown. Reticulation will stop the crack from propagating. Has a nice ring. Also a kiln bulge on the liner, but all glazed.
A fine blue and white saucer dish with stylized lotus scroll design. Conforming theme on the side. 6 character mark of Tongzhi (1861 - 1875)and of the period, guaranteed.
6" diameter, very faint short hairline along one side, barely visible (see center of detail pic); and a grain of kiln sand; excellent porcelain and glaze.
A lovely Kangxi mark phoenix and flowers plate in blue and white. Excellent detail and saphire blue. Six character apocryphal Kangxi imperial mark belongs to a group made in the late 19th century. Good example of fine porcelain made during this era in emulation of Kangxi blue and white which was much valued at the time.
