A Jiaqing or possibly Qianlong period celadon jade scholar's brush holder bitong. No marks. Elegant simple lines, rounded rim. Celadon green hue showing through. Good translucency; see backlit pictures. About 1800-50. Elegantly simple form.
4 1/4" high by 2 1/4" diameter. Very good condition, no chips hairlines cracks or repairs. Lovely to the touch from the handling of over 100 years.

This is a lovely 19th century carved jade pendant with lots of openwork. It has a mogul flavor with the intricate floral motif with reticulation all over the piece. Really nice detail and a favorite theme of plum blossoms, symbol of hardiness. It is hanging on a red plush cord with Chinese geometric knots to complement the jade motif. About 2 inches across and in very good condition.
A 19th century Qing dynasty transluscent Chinese white jade plaque or toggle with a carving of 2 fish on one side and an auspicious symbol on the other. Fish is a homophone for prosperity or plenty. In old China, a jade toggle on a silk cord is worn for good luck. 2.3 by 1.4 inches with nice old patina. Makes a great pendant or brooch.

This is a fun jade archer's ring from the Chinese Ch'ing (Qing) dynasty mid to late 18th century. Pretty high quality jade of a slightly greenish hue a trace of mottling not dyed or treated. And it has translucency as you might surmise from the picures. There is an incised design of a pair of facing carp, seem quite happy enjoying themselves amidst the aquatic plants. A fine Qing dynasty jade archer ring of a transluscent light green with striations. Most likely early to mid 19th century. Due to the transluscence, it takes on the color of the background. A well crafted ring concave at one rim and convex at the other. This is a genuine archer's ring intended for use.
