A rare 8'long North African spear or javelin from Ethiopia with the original shaft and inlaid blade. The head blade is about 14" long by 2" widest and the socket is about 10" long. Shaft diameter is about 1", of hard wood and has great patina. This is a Coptic spear as evidenced by the metal inlay with a cross. Both head and socket are well decorated.
