An abstract female seated female nude figure by Theresa Bernstein, unsigned. This oil on board painting, together with the signed charcoal nude by Bernstein also listed here (item #285009), came from the same estate. Theresa Bernstein (1890-2002) was a listed artist who worked in Philadelphia, New York and the North Shore of Massachusetts. She was known for her bold brush strokes.

A gorgeous original acrylic painting by Michael Chiago (born 1946) of Tonoho O'odham tribe in Arizona. His subjects are the daily life and ceremonies of the Sonoran desert native traditions. These include both original and Christian practices. This is a wonderful individual dancer radiating energy.
