A fine old French faience pot-au-creme with fitted cover that has an apricot? finial. Can be used for jam jar, loose tea, whatever. Pretty floral pattern with Strasbourg rose on one side and tulip on the other. Old crown mark of K&G Luneville from the 1920s or earlier. Pink trim all around... so very continental in feel. The rich pink is achieved with the use of gold doped into the enamel color fired at high temperature. ...click for details

What a find! A lovely antique bird's eye maple tuckaway (tuck-away) handkerchief table that's --- only 3.3"--- wide when completely folded. --- It is a corner table with 1 leaf open and a nice card table or lamp table or whatever when both leaves are open. Excellent construction from sturdy maple, the folding legs have brass hardware to latch it in place when open. In fact the hardware is all original brass or iron.
