A lovely repousse sterling marrow scoop with an elaborate pattern of roses, patented 1902. The mark is that of Blackington Company. Towle purchases many of the dies when the company went under.

A finely detailed set of sterling sugar tongs or claws by Gorham. It is the 1870 Eglantine pattern, for which the relief work was cast for show on both sides of the silver. You can see that the top blossom on the outside is a different one from the blossom on the inside. Unlike repousse, one side is not the reverse of the other. A fine 1880 Gorham sterling crumber server in a nicely detailed scroll pattern called Domestic. Scalloped relief on the back edge. Very useful for serving ice cream, cake or dessert since crumbers are not often used. Fancy script "S" or "P" or "F" monogram.

This is an unusual shape vegetable server (forked spoon) in the 1828 Reed & Barton Oxford pattern. Hallmark mark as shown. This is a hefty antique spoon, no light weight. No monogram. 8.5 inches long. No creases or dings. VEry good condition, great patina. Nice unusual sterling serving spoon.

A nice big Gorham sterling cake, ice cream or pudding server in the elaborate 1893 Luxemburg pattern. Gorham marks. There is a very scrolly monogram which can be read many ways. This shape is pretty hard to find. Serves a generous portion.
A sterling silver nail buff or polisher dated 1900 with a favorite Art Nouveau theme... a repousse figure of a girl with flowing long hair and a pair of wings. The oval shaped pad is in a beige leather suede. Old hallmark of Towle with "sterling 1900".

A beautiful Gorham sterling serving spoon in the very desirable Lilly pattern (Terry Hagan book p. 77). The pattern was introduced by Whiting, a division of Gorham in 1902. Also the server has an unusual scalloped bowl often referred to as oyster servers. This one has a crisp Gorham mark see pic. No monogram. Quite hefty in the hand.

A fine Gorham 5 piece sterling tea set with repousse plum blossoms. Set includes teapot, hot water, cream, sugar and waste bowl. Both teapot & hot water pot are 1 1/4 pint capacity. Both have ivory or bone insulators on the handles. Nice detail with the repousse standing out deep in relief (see detail pic of inside). Monogram in fancy script as shown can be variously interpreted. Small lion-anchor-G Gorham mark on each piece along with hand scribed numbers as well as the retailer name.
