An early Republic of China dish with square Yongzheng mark typical of the period. There are three figures, a mother nursing a baby with a child next to her; painted in famille rose. Slight orange peel on the surface. 1920s or earlier.
About 6" diameter and deep almost 1" high, fine condition with no chips or hairlines or repairs. Nice theme. Orange peel surface typical of the period.

Fine Guangxu mark and period blue charger with gold dragons. It shows a pair of dragons contending for the pearl of wisdom. Very good blue and glaze, gold very good to the interior; Worn on the exterior. Heavy potting and glazed inside the footrim. Calligraphy of the six character Guangxu reign mark is excellent.
A Kangxi period blue and white jar with a later and very good carved wood cover having a serpentine jade plaque. The theme is the "3 friends of winter", pine, bamboo and plum blossom. Double circle on the bottom. Nice Kangxi blue. 17th century.

A Jiaqing Daoguang period vase with unusual cat handles; butterfly, bird and floral theme. Outstanding quality fine porcelain. Excellent control of detail in the feng cai enamel painting. About 1830-50.
The enamel painting of the butterfly, fruits and foliage are of fine detail with the best of domestic Chinese porcelain.
嘉庆粉彩人物小酒杯 A Jiaqing mark small wine cup or bowl and of the period in a fun cut corner form, with figures from a Peking opera and ladies watching. 6 character red mark. {The red mark is used on some Jiaqing mark and period items as can be seen in quite a few examples of the Palace Museum catalogues.) The figures are delicately drawn with fine detail. I particularly like the woman playing a pipa (Chinese stringed instrument).

A Jiaqing Daoguang era wine cup with figures and inscriptions from a novel. Slightly foliated form, vivid enamel colors with gold trim. Fine quality biscuit thinly potted. No marks. 1860 or earlier.
1.75" high and 1.9" wide. 2 tiniest roughness at rim not easily visible.
A fine "imperial hall marked" (Jurentang) turquoise ground floral medallion covered tea or "small treat" bowl from the Early Republic of China period from 1912 to 1920s. The very good Ju Ren Tang mark is said to be the hall mark for the self styled Emperor Hongxian who sat on the throne for 81 days in the winter of 1911-1912. An antique Tonghzi mark porcelain snuff bottle with fishermen in famille rose paintings and foo lion (dog) handles. Wonderful miniature expressive figures. Fun horizontal form with pearl finial top and nice composite spoon neatly done. Late 19th century and of the period.
2.5" wide and 2.25" high. Very good condition with no cracks lines or repairs. Slight wear to enamel.
A lovely Kangxi mark phoenix and flowers plate in blue and white. Excellent detail and saphire blue. Six character apocryphal Kangxi imperial mark belongs to a group made in the late Qing to Early Republic. Good example of fine porcelain made during this era in emulation of Kangxi blue and white which was much valued at the time.
A Qing Kangxi imperial mark and of the period (17-18th century) double phoenix bowl in blue and white. Stylized clouds between the sacred birds. Double rings at the rim and triple on the slightly high foot, very characteristic. 6 character reign mark in a double circle. Thick mirror hard glaze (faintest trace of blue) and a brilliant medium blue. Late Kangxi near Yongzheng inter-regnum. The bowl was probably commissioned for the Empress on a special occasion.
