A striking antique Royal Crown Derby spherical vase with tons of gold all over and with a rich flower design. The full field of lively blossoms come in all shapes sizes & colors. This is very reminiscent of the oriental mille fleur design. Just look at the fine detail in the lively flowers! Royal Crown Derby mark on the bottom as shown. I'd say 100-120 years old.
7.5" high & 7" diameter at shoulder. Very good condition no hairlines or repairs. This is an exceptionally rich design even for Royal Crown Derby. Incredible variety of colors amidst all that gold! Even more colorful than their famou Imari patterns. |
