A simply gorgeous antique Loetz vase of the Austrian art glass period. Thick purple swirl pattern on iridescent gold glass. Great pontil on the bottom. It shimmers with different hues under different lighting conditions. Larger pic was taken in sunlight with flash bottom was taken in open shade without flash. You can see the color effects. Unsigned but I guarantee Loetz.
5" high. No flakes or cracks tiny rubbing on bottom. Very good condition. Loetz is the epitomy of "small is beautiful". This is a wonderful example. |
