Wispy design of thistle blossoms on a Royal Doulton cup, saucer & plate trio set. The thistle is found neat Queen Mary's Glamis castle. This is an artist signed set, by P Curnock whose name is found on other porcelain. Lion back stamp dated to 1938.
Cup 3.5" diameter & 2.8" high; saucer 5.5" diameter and plate 6" diameter. Very good condition no chips hairlines or cracks. Gold trim just about all there. Nice summer colors for a signed Royal Doulton trio. |
