A beautiful Gorham sterling serving spoon in the very desirable Lilly pattern (Terry Hagan book p. 77). The pattern was introduced by Whiting, a division of Gorham in 1902. Also the server has an unusual scalloped bowl often referred to as oyster servers. This one has a crisp Gorham mark see pic. No monogram. Quite hefty in the hand.
9.2" long about 5 oz. No dings scratches or cracks. A fine antique server in a popular pattern and outstanding condition. Heavy old estate item. Wonderful elegant silver makes for a great gift! |
