A fine Northern Song (960-1127 a.d.) example of dingyao. A freely carved lotus blossom decorates the center. You can feel the lines soar. Well defined recessed footrim. 4.7" diameter and in great condition with no hairlines or cracks or repairs.
Genuine Song dingyao is pretty rare. This is an elegant example. |
