This is a large 11" diameter sterling center bowl with an art nouveau design. Polishes beautifully. See the cute eagle mark of the old Boston carriage trade store Shreve Crump & Low. Design patented 1893. Fancy monogram as shown. Shreve sterling is always high quality, not too many around.
Very good condition, a couple of faint dimples in center. Nice example of American sterling silver. Great for the holiday table, to use or as gift. Looks marvelous filled with flowers or fruit. |
