A vibrant still life of peaches on a green stool by Peter Petronzio. This artist was collected by the noted art connoiseur Nelson Goodman. Quoting the internet memorial for Goodman, "..hanging on opposite walls an important Flemish Old Master by Jan Van Kessel and an exquisite naïve work by an unknown Twentieth Century Italian immigrant farmer, Peter Petronzio". This painting came from an estate in the next town in Massachusetts. The picture is well matted in linen board, and is in a simple gold frame.
Image 19 1/2" x 14", framed 36" x 19 1/2". Picture in fine condition with wonderful colors. Frame included at buyer's option. |
