A stately blue Fitzhugh pattern teapot with pedestal foot. Brilliant blue color, fine white porcelain, the high quality usually found on Chinese export porcelain in Fitzhugh design. It stands 9 1/2 inches high with 10 1/2 from pointed spout to barbed handle. Very good condition with only tiny kiln imperfection on foot. Rings nicely. Very fine detail throughout. Circa 1850.
