This is a fine late Qing dynasty (Ch'ing) rank badge to be worn by a civil official's wife on her robe. There is gold and silver metallic threads for highlighting. This is a genuine rank badge with the embroidered borders, (not a piece cut from a robe, for example).
About 10 inches square and in very good condition. |
