A fun 19th century Chinese export tazza or stem bowl with the 1000 butterflies design. Nice thick enamel with highlights on the bottom and a band on the stem. Circa 1880. From an old New Bedford estate together with some cantons.
9" diameter and 3" high. No chips hairlines or repairs. A tiny loss to enamel and some glass frits, not readily discernible. Very good condition. A popular design in a great form. |
