Vintage oil painting of Sailboats on the "Charles River Basin from Cambridge Side", signed lower right corner W. J. Macdonald, 1936. Tag with title on the back. It looks like a view from Memorial Drive across the M.I.T. campus and looking to the Boston Back Bay. Many sailboats from spring to fall.
Sight: 20" by 16" in vintage gold frame. Painting in good condition with no tears or holes. Some wear to the gold frame. Good momento gift for a MIT, Harvard, Boston University, Northeastern University, or Massachusetts General Hospital alumnus. |
