A signed antique Paris porcelain plate with cobalt border and artist signed "castle scene". The view is the nunnery of "Chartreuse de Romans", where they make the liquore Chartreuse. Back stamp of Goss, on the Rue J J Rousseau near the Louvre museum.
About 9" diameter. Very good condition with no chips hairlines or repairs. Beautiful Paris porcelain hard paste. |
